ORIIUM Recognised In The Santander Breakthrough 50 Awards 2014

Oriium, a Wetherby based information technology (IT) company has been ranked in the 2014 Santander Breakthrough 50.

The awards, a celebration of the fastest growing businesses in the UK is run by Santander in conjunction with the online business platform, Smarta and has been established to shine a light on the most inspiring businesses in the UK.

The announcement comes after the company increased its revenue by 790 per cent over the last five years. Following a Deloitte Fast 50 ranking and significant account wins Oriium are now looking at expanding their operations in the UK and developing the executive management team.

Other winners include Zopa, Funding Circle, GrantTree, Market Invoice and Brew Dog.

Judges for the award included Ana Botin, CEO of Santander, The Rt Hon Baroness Vadera, former Small Business Minister, Dr Hermann Hauser of Amadeus Capital Partners and Tom Teichman, Chairman of Spark Ventures.

The judges selected businesses that “are transforming established industries, leading the entrepreneurial movement in the UK and inspiring others to grow into businesses that push our economy forward.”
